The Maine Wood Banks work to eliminate fuel insecurity in Maine by improving access to firewood for people in need, building strong community partnerships, and mobilizing the public by leveraging renewable resources.  

Maine Wood Banks Network is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to expanding and strengthening wood banks across the state.  We enhance efficiency, scalability, and collaboration for both new and existing wood banks while they maintain local control. By joining our network, wood banks gain access to vital resources, shared equipment, fundraising opportunities, and professional services—all designed to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and maximize impact.
